About Our School
Spring Valley School (SVS) is a Senior Secondary co-educational English Medium School functioning in the National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) Campus and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (Code:930100). It is managed by REC SPECTRA (Regional Engineering College Society for Promotion of Educational, Cultural and Training Activities), a charitable society registered under the societies act (1860). The members of the society are faculty members of NITC. NITC and NIELIT Calicut, located adjacent to each other have considered SVS as a part of their staff welfare measures.
Admissions are guaranteed to all eligible children of the staff of NITC, NIELIT Calicut and SVS. To the extent possible, it also serves the local people by offering admission to their wards. The school started functioning soon after the registration of the society in 1991 and has grown up to the senior secondary level in 1997. The first batches of class X and class XIl students of the school appeared for the Board Examinations in March 1997 and March 1999 respectively. The school aspires to be an institution of national reputation, which offers the thrill and excitement of learning. In this scenic setting, the children imbibe sound moral and ethical values besides developing their self-confidence. It is presumed that SVS will emerge as an institution imparting Value-Based Education.

General Uniform Guidelines
- School belt, white socks, and black school shoes are compulsory.
- Students must wear the complete prescribed uniform.
- Low-waist and tight-fitting pants are strictly prohibited.
- Failure to follow the dress code will be treated as indiscipline.
